WRITTEN DECLARATION ON THE WELFARE OF PETS: MORE MEPs NEED TO SIGN BEFORE DEADLINE OF 9TH SEPTEMBER A number of MEPs have already given their support but more signatures are needed so that the Declaration can be officially adopted.
The “Written Declaration No 26 on the Welfare of Pets” was filed in April 2010 by four Members of the European Parliament: the Intergroup president Carl Schlyter, Marit Paulsen, Caroline Lucas and Janusz Wojciechowski.
